Lynn Coules, Alice Wong, Brian Jeon, Jim Duholke and I had a great time at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club, playing in the Provincial Indoor Mixed Pairs.  Lynn Coules and her partner Ed Logan were defending the title they won last year, which was followed by a trip to Swansea to play internationally.  One major achievement for all of us was to be able to get home on Friday and then back to PIBC the next morning, considering the snow!

Eighteen teams were drawn into three sections of six teams, to play round robin games.  We all got five matches consisting of two sets of nine ends, and often tie-breaks. Some of us even had a tie-break to decide the tie-break, so played another four ends.

Alice, Sue and Jim said goodbye in the quarterfinals, with Sue and Jim losing to the eventual gold medal winners. Alice and Graham lost to the bronze medallists, so all pretty respectable. Congratulations to Lynn Coules and Ed Logan who got through to the semi-finals, and who came fourth overall!

A big thank you to our supporters/spectators.
