aaaaaleylandThe Leyland Cup has concluded its first leg as the Men of North Van visited WVLBC on Saturday. It was a great day on the greens as the weather held nicely throughout the afternoon. 8 teams from each side were put together to play 18 ends of triples. After the first leg the teams are tied with 4 wins each but West Van has the upper hand in shots as they hold a WVLBC [8 +143] vs NVLBC [8 +129] advantage.

The competition will shift now to North Van LBC on June 13th as it will come down to the wire with the two clubs battling it out for the prestigious Cup. A big thanks to Susan Lewis and her team of Ladies that helped in the kitchen and to all the spectators that showed up to give their support for the teams.

LeylandCupGood Luck to both teams and looking forward to seeing the end result as this storied tradition continues.
