Last week was the 2014 Canadian Indoor Championships and it was a great run for member Tim Mason as he went 10-1 in round robin action through the week. Outscoring his opponents by large margins all week it was left to a 1 game final that saw Mason losing a close game in a tie-break that came down to the last shot. “It was a great run through the week and was happy with how I played, its always tough to lose that final game as that is the second time it has happened to me after a strong week” Mason commented. “Its great for the sport to see other people win Championships like this and I am happy for John as he is a great guy”.

This was the second time that Mason was top of the charts after the round robin play as in 2011 Tim went 11-0 and lost the final to fellow club member Geoff Pershick.

John Bjornson from Manitoba will now head off to Warilla, NSW, Australia to represent Canada at the 2015 World Cup.
